I am going to be an interpreter tomorrow morning for a pastor who speaks English.
I don't know the Chinese for one sentence:
Women do not go fishing for compliments.
Drop me answer in the comments. Thank you, my readers! ( It's talking about how to maintain proper relationships.)

英解:to try in an indirect way to get complimented
Thank you guys! You are so kind to me!!!
But I still cannot make sure. All right, I post the whole paragraph to make it clear.
...
5. Maintain proper relationships
Most affairs occur between close personal friends, co-workers or family members. Since we obviously have to deal with people every day of our lives how do you maintain a proper relationship in casual relationships?
1) Don't listen to a member of the opposite sex tell you his or her marriage problems.
...
2) Women do not go fishing for compliments. You may have married a man that did not notice that two weeks ago you died your hair blue and purple and has yet to comment on it. But that does not mean that you are to look outside of your marriage relationship for those deep emotional needs. If you're a man, if you are not sure what to say, it's better to say nothing in terms of compliments than to give the wrong signal off. Be careful.
OK, any conclusion?
This is my translation. I am very happy to have this opportunity to express my appreciation for your kind words.
Yours truely
Thank you Ma'am, I think that is it.
The most important part for this phrase is "go fishing for compliments." Fishing for compliments means to ask for compliments but with an indirect way. I think this sentence is wrong becasue women do go fishing for the compliments. Like most women will say my cooking is not very good today but as matter of fact, she expects you to compliment her that her cooking is very good.
women do go fishing for the compliments.
Ha ha.
Women do not go fishing for compliments.
